Yeah! You’ve got your invitation and your friend or family member is getting married! And then comes the realization that they have not included any information on a registry or a wishing well card. Uh oh, what do you get them?
Some of you will be happy to hit the sales and get some great Waterford Crystal, or know that the groom is a cooking tragic, and some of you will think – forget the blender, I want something cool, neh, amazing.
Well here is a collection of my five favorite gifts from around the web:
1. The Wedding Lyric Tree
This is my “go to” gift – a number of my lovely friends and family will have this hanging in their homes and each of them have raved about the gift, so here you go.
What you do is follow the link, send the words to the couple’s first dance song, their vows, anything that is long enough, and this magic lady puts in on a tree with some hanging hearts. It is definitely a wedding gift (although they do nursery rhymes too – baby shower???) but it doesn’t scream wedding on their wall.

2. The Mini Me Ornament
This is for the couple that you do not mind giving a gift well after the wedding. Abberant Ornaments takes an image of your friends’ cake and makes it into a mini 4″ ornament!

3. The People Pillow
Everyone loves a throw pillow! Even the groom who says they are pointless and then slips one behind his back when he eases into the couch. Uncommon Goods has this super cute pillow option where you can pick the people you put on it (a bit like the family stick people).

4. The Altered Book
This one is for the book junkies. Does your friend/family have an amazing book collection? Why not add one more? This company will alter a book to say different words or a J & J, or more.

5. Repeated Champagne
A bit of a favorite of mine. Set yourself a reminder and send some bubbles on their 1st, 2nd, and 5th anniversary. It gives the wedded a warm fuzzy feeling (and not only from the champagne!)
